Bear Hunts
There are three elements of bear hunting that make a good or bad bear hunt. Those are:
- Bait and scent selection
- Bait location
- Baiting strategy
Being strategic and and forward thinking combined with the above is what makes LOW Outfitters your destination for great bear hunting. Here's how:
- Bait - We use a wide variety of bait options.
- Bait location - Locations of baits is a year round commitment, from scouting for new locations to maintaining past baits.
- Baiting strategy – Baiting strategy is what really makes the hunt, using the right strategy is what will make the hunt successful. For about a month prior to your hunt my guides and I have dedicate our lives to our baits. We spend dawn to dark baiting the sites daily, we also keep daily detailed records of our baits (weather, wind direction, how much bait was ate, etc. ). Trail cameras are also a useful scouting tool, in some locations, used to determine quality and timing of bear that come in.
